Im still not a big fan of chevrons, but since Ive never worked this stitch pattern in the round before, I thought I would give it a shot. This is a rather unusual look for a hat, and although Im not into big bold patterns, I do know some other people who are. I do like the 3D look on the chevrons though. Thats a feature that I might add to some of my other chevron projects.

After reading over the pattern, this seems very easy and something I Could make up very quickly. I was thinking of doing it in a dark and light tan color for my grandson so he won't say sissy colors grandma. Also think about doing it in team colors.not only professional ones but high school and colleges.

That was my thought, too. The big chevrons just scream team colors. Our local high school only has two colors, so this would be perfect for it.
