This is a very easy pattern to follow and it makes up very quickly. I made a set to give as a baby shower gift. It came out great. I added a diaper cover and matching booties. I will try to post a picture if I have one. Not only is this pattern easy, you can adapt it to many other animals by simply changing colors.

This hat is absolutely adorable and super easy to crochet. I crocheted it for my nephew and am very pleased with the result. The only thing I changed was I crocheted the white part of the eyes as it was for a one year old and I thought this was a safer option than buttons. Animal hats are very popular for all ages these days and the pattern includes instructions for a wide variety of sizes. It works up quickly so it could make a great last minute gift.
