Cabled Beanie

After designing my Crochet Cabled Messy Bun Hat, I was asked if I could add instructions for a beanie. So here it is, the Cabled Beanie version! The hat is constructed from the bottom up. You crochet the band, then work into the sides of the rows of the band and begin the body of the hat. Once you reach a certain height, you then work crown shaping to reduce the bulk of the hat in the crown.

This designer has provided just about everything the crafter could need with this project. There are several different sizes, detailed instructions for certain critical sections, an offer for a download at a modest price, and a free instructional video on YouTube. This hat even comes in Messy Bun or regular Beanie versions, too. I can easily see this one becoming one of my go to favorites!
