"I have been wanting to design an owl hat for a while now. Designing animal hats is one of my favorite crochet projects and I'm really happy with how this little guy turned out. I hope you like my pattern! Pattern is easy to follow and is written for sizes 0/3 months through adult. You just need crochet hooks in sizes I 5.5mm and H 5mm and some worsted weight yarn in colors of your choice."
Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook, I/9 or 5.5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge15 dc= 4" and 10 rows= 4"

Can you have too many Owl hat patterns? I cant, and if you give a hoot about your designs, youll include this one in your own collection. I love that scalloped edging (looks like feathers) and those tufted ears. I really like how shes worked the eyesthats always a challenge for me. Those eyes are going to find a place on some of my other creations, too.
