Yarn Weight(5) Bulky/Chunky (12-15 stitches for 4 inches)

Finished SizeNewborn: 12.5” (32 cm) hat circumference x 5” (13 cm) height. Infant: 15.75” (40 cm) hat circumference x 6” (15 cm) height. Child: 18.75” (47.5 cm) hat circumference x 7” (18 cm) height. Teen/Adult: 22” (56 cm) hat circumference x 8” (20.5 cm) height.

Materials List

Lion Brand Scarfie yarn (78% acrylic/22% wool, 5.3 oz/150 g/312 yd/285 m) – 1 skein in 205 Cranberry Black, or approximately 225yd (206 m) in any bulky weight yarn
Yarn needle
US Size K-10.5/6.5 mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge
Clover Pom Pom Maker (small for newborn and infant sizes or extra large for child and adult/teen sizes) (optional)

Don't you like the Scarfie yarns by Lion Brand? The colors are really saturated and a lot of them have pops of black in them which really makes the colors stand out even more. There is also one that is a mint green with a silvery gray that would be so pretty for the winter time and a hat like this- like winter pastels. I appreciate the Charlie Hat pattern! Thanks -)
