This hat is perfect for when you need something on your head in the winter but dont want to look like youre newly arrived from Fargo. I really like that the designer consistently uses shells throughout the entire hat. The only difference in the small shells at the crown versus the larger shells for the body are the number of Double Crochets per stitch. The braided leather hatband sets the whole thing off. It would be wonderful in cotton for Summer, too!
