  • Knit Picks Swish Worsted (100% Merino wool, 1.75 oz/50 g/110 yd/101 m) – 1 (1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2) skeins in Rainforest Heather, or approximately 110 (110, 110, 220, 220, 220, 220) yd/101 (101, 101, 202, 202, 202, 202) m in any medium weight yarn.
  • US Size I-9/5.5 mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.
  • Yarn needle.
  • Locking stitch marker or scrap yarn.

One of my pet peeves is finding a pattern I like, and it not being available in the size I want or need. Not a problem with this project as the author has instructions from infant through adult. The cute little detail around the top and bottom of the hat distinguish this pattern from other beginner beanies, yet its not difficult to work up.
