    • Caron® Cotton Cakes™ (8.8 oz/250 g; 530 yds/485 m)
    • Main Color (MC) Cream (57030) - 5 balls
    • Contrast A Peach Blossom (57017) - 4 balls
    • Size U.S. H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

    Instructions

    With MC, ch 36. Beg working Chart, noting that each square is equal to 2 dc and reading RS rows from right to left and WS rows from left to right. Only carrying MC when not being used. Change colors by drawing contrast color through last 2 loops on hook.

    1. 1st row: (RS) 1 dc in 4th ch from hook. 1 dc in each ch to end of ch. Turn. 34 dc.

    2. 2nd row: Ch 3. 1 dc in each dc to end of row. Turn.

    3. Rep 2nd row and cont working Chart until 17th row of chart is complete. Fasten off.

    4. Assembly

      With A and WS of two motifs tog, sc tog Motifs through front loops only into 5 Strips, having 6 Motifs in each Strip. With A and WS of 2 Strips tog, sc Strips tog through front loops only.

    5. Border

      With RS facing, join MC with sl st to any corner.

      1st rnd: Ch 3 (counts as dc). 1 dc in each dc around, working 5 dc in each corner. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. Fasten off.

    6. Fringe

      Cut strands of A 10" [25.5 cm] long. Taking 3 strands tog, fold in half and knot into fringe in every other st across Bottom and Top of Blanket. Trim fringe evenly.
