I have seen this yarn in the store but it didn't feel soft enough. Maybe it was just my hands. I like to use Unforgettable yarn by Red Heart for self striping tones. I made a pair using their Vineyard . It was gorgeous. They also have one called Parrot that makes up beautifully.

Fingerless gloves are getting more and more popular. I am not familiar with this particular yarn but I have used some of the Deborah Norville before. I have to admit this yarn looks yummy, but I really prefer to go by feel. So Im anxious to try this and some of the other soft yarns to see how they compare. I love the way the self striping projects work out. Not everything is about symmetry.

These fingerless gloves are very cute. The cranberry color shades are great. I love these quick and easy patterns that you can make in only a couple of hours. I know the designer said these could be finished in about an hour, but I am a very slow crocheter. I go extra slow to make sure all my stitches are right and I keep recounting but still I seem to end up having to redo projects some times. This pattern is so pretty and easy. Will make great little last minute gifts.
