These adorable booties would make the idea shower or baby gift, especially when paired with the matching hat (link included with this pattern). The instructions are clearly written, but the only photo is included in the section of shaping the sole of the bootie. You could leave off the pompons or change the color of the trim if you wanted a more masculine look.

These booties look like boots. They are just too sweet. I have a few friends that are becoming first time grand mothers. These will make great gifts for the baby showers. I have made diaper covers and hats so these will add to that collection. Thank you for posting it .

Oh, little 2 month old baby Billy is going to look absolutely gorgeous in these! Here in South Africa our days are getting cooler as summer is ending and his teeny little feet are going to be needing something to keep them cozy. He is quite a colorful lad, though, so I am going to have to have a look in my huge yarn stash to find something in keeping with his sartorial tastles, lol!
