Slanted Shell Baby Beanies
"If you are a regular follower of EyeLoveKnots, you know just how much I am in love with the slanted shell stitch pattern. How could I resist working up these sweet little baby hats using the stitch pattern? This pattern includes Newborn, 3-6 Month and 6-12 Month baby sizes (Toddler, Child and Adult versions available too!). With one skein of yarn, you can make several hats making this a great project to work on for donations to your local baby hospital, or as gift ideas. They also work up very quickly - about 45 minutes either size."

This is the first slanted shell pattern that I actually tried working up. Since they are infant hats, this was a quick project. I chose the newborn size because someone in our family is always having a new baby. I knew my experiment would not go to waste. Just as I expected, the stitch was easy to work and the result was very nice. I will be including this pattern in the hats I make for charity.
