Simple Crochet Baby Bonnet

I chose to use Lindy Chain, which is a fingering weight yarn that is a lightweight chainette yarn. I really love the way it works up!! It is a combination of linen and cotton, which I feel is right for a baby. You don’t want them getting too hot, so I steered clear of the bulkier yarns. I love wool, but it might get scratchy against a baby’s head. So this yarn worked up perfectly. I chose a nice light purple, “Whisper” color since I knew I was working up a baby design. Overall I couldn’t be happier with how this turned out in this yarn – and I have enough left over to make something else!
