I love baby booties! These particular booties are one of the few patterns I have found that look like they are for boys. I am looking for different items to make to give my sister for her baby, due in October, and I think these just made the list! The list keeps growing, but these should be easy to finish in just a few short days!

Baby items are one of my favorite things to crochet. They are so small, so they dont take much time, but they make such a personal gift for a baby shower or a new baby in the family. Handmade items show you actually put some thought into the gift and will last many years to be handed down.

They are simple, but have that extra added flair of the ridges, which makes these one of the most unique and different baby bootie designs I have seen. They are truly a unisex bootie. Lots of new parents like to keep the sex of their baby a surprise until birth. I am sure they'd whip up fast and fun.

What a cute design. It's like when you crochet one row in the back loop and one in the front. It makes a pretty ridge. This really isn't hard to do. I think if. Make them for a girl I will add some small Pom poms to the front. Or some pretty beads.
