" This beanie is made using a lightweight (3) yarn in North America, or a DK yarn in the UK. It uses the double crochet stitch for the body and for the brim you will do Front Post Double Crochet and Back Post Double Crochet. This gives a ribbed effect around the bottom so the hat fits snugly. It is made using a top down method, so you can make it longer if you want to. It really is a beginner friendly pattern and I would describe the skill level as Easy."
