My crochet club is making a bunch of these for a local charity. The design and pattern make this simple little beanie look extra special. We are going to couple them with a shell stitch blanket to complete the gift. Every baby needs this sweet beanie to come home in. Grab your yarn and get to it.

For a simple, basic beanie, this worked up beautifully! The designer takes you round by round through the entire project with both text and photos. She also includes links to the trickier stitches. Even though it is primarily made of scallops (and originally designed for a baby girl), I think it would work up just fine in baby blue for a boy.

This color is so sweet and I really love the intricate detail and design of the stitches! It really takes a simple-looking beanie to a whole new level. This is a must as a baby shower gift.

So much pink! I love pink and I love all these new pink patterns. Front post and back post crochet stitching is very easy to learn and it is so easy to do once you have perfected it. This beanie is so easy. I like to take yarn projects with me when I am on appointments to work on in the waiting rooms. This project is small and easy to work on in small amounts of time.
