This magic baby bib was made for a boy with the blue border. It could easily be modified to pink for a girl. If you have no idea the sex of the baby, try a gender neutral color. I love this bib pattern and was a little disappointed that the directions page had a picture of matching booties and beanie but no directions.

Only a few years ago it was that I completed a crochet project that I had to make a whole lot of motifs for a king size coverlet. You would think I would remember the stitches but I do not. This is very familiar to the motif I used to make my king size coverlet and I would make this in a heart beat for a new baby if I had one to make it for.

Very easy pattern to follow. It's so cute too. I am making it in pink with little flowers around the edge. I like the addition of a hat and booties. I will make up a diaper cover to add to the set and it will make a great baby shower gift. Thank you!

The shape of this baby bib reminds me of a kettle ball used in the gym. Was that the inspiration for the design? This trio makes a very cute baby shower gift to welcome the new baby. It is made with very soft cotton yarn. There is also a bonus stitch diagram for those that crochet in this manner.
