"This crochet baby blanket is about as easy as it gets. As long as you can chain and double crochet, you can whip up one of these blankets yourself. Feel free to change up the colors and customize for either gender or to go with the nursery decor. I really like the colors used in this project. As was stated by a previous poster, very masculine. I have twin one year old grand sons and I think this would make a great throw to take along in their car seats. Thank goodness it's such an easy design because I have to make two!

Done in a day blanket. Lots of pictures to go along with this tutorial. Colors are awesome for a baby boy as it has more of a masculine look. Might be a great gift for the larger guys too. Thinking it could work if made to scale for your big boy to take with him to his college dorm for the upcoming winter days.

Not only is this blankie perfect for the baby, I think it is the prefect size for wheelchair bound folks, or those in senior homes. It fits directly covering the lap and will not hang down and get in the way of the wheels. It is a great unisex color combo, too.
