Baby's Soft Shoes
"The Baby's Soft Shoes pattern provides instructions for crocheting a simple yet feminine pair of shoes for newborns from 0 to 3 months of age. It is quick and easy to work up, yet it maintains a very sweet and elegant look. While this is a beginner-friendly crochet pattern, there are many ways to customize this hat, such as using different yarn colors or adding embellishments (e.g., buttons, flowers, bows) to make it unique! It goes hand-in-hand with the Baby's Springtime Lacy Beanie pattern, and together they make the perfect, handmade gift for expecting mothers, baby showers, and newborns!"

These are such sweet baby shoes. I see that these are designed for newborns. I suppose if I increase the size of the soul I would be able to increase the size of the upper part of the shoe. Would that be a correct assumption?

This cute shoe was originally designed as part of a set, but they can certainly be worked up by themselves. The designer provides a very nice photo tutorial for the shoes, and if you are interested, there are links to the other projects was well. The only downside is that the shoes are only for size 0-3 months, although I have had some success by going up a hook size or two for larger sizes.

So cute. And what I like is that they are not new born booties. There are plenty of patterns for them. These are for an older by and can be an every day foot covering. If you want to dress them up, add a flower, bow or buttons. Just change to brown or blue for a boy.
