Taming the Butterfly Fingerless Gloves
These Taming the Butterfly Fingerless Gloves won't keep you warm, but they are super stylish! Make them in a fun color to stand out, or crochet these gloves in a basic black or white to match everything. You will love how quick and easy it is to create this pattern, which can be worn even into spring in many parts of the U.S. The lightweight fingerless gloves can also hide a wrist tattoo and can also be worn in place of a bracelet. These crochet fingerless gloves would also make the perfect gift idea for the fashionistas in your life.

I have a favorite pattern for a Butterfly hat, and these lovely fingerless gloves will go perfectly with it. The pattern is easy to read but there arent any in process photos. Thats not a problem for me since I cant even remember how many Butterfly hats Ive made. The only tricky part is the stitch that forms the body of the butterfly. There are several excellent videos out there on the Butterfly.

Am I missing something because your site is constantly listing fingerless GLOVES yet, all I'm finding are patterns for topless mittens! PLEASE someone understand the definition between gloves mittens! It's a shame that as a crochet site, your editors so clearly do NOT understand how to define one from the other. Regardless how beautiful the pattern may be, it's misleading to those looking for an actual "FINGERLESS GLOVES" pattern.

I made them and they feel alittle bit big. I have a normal sized hand and would like to put these gloves up for sale in my shop. ( with credit for pattern for you ) Is there a way to shrink the yarn to make them smaller when they are finished being made?

I agree I made several pairs of these mitts and just love the look. But have to know how to crochet, because you need to alter the pattern.

I was sent to the blog of the designer. I then copied the pattern and a couple of pictures onto a word document. From there I can save or print. Hope that helps! I too love the butterfly wristers and look forward to making them! Thanks for sharing!

This is a very nice project. However, I did have to alter the pattern a lot. I followed the pattern exactly the first time and the glove did not look anything like the photo. After altering some things a couple times I finally got it to look much better. Other than that these are very beautiful, decorative, easy to make fingerless gloves.
