Dainty Crochet Doily
A doily crochet pattern like this one is so elegant you won't even want to use it. Set it on top any table and just look at how beautiful it is. A size U.S. 2 crochet hook is used.

One of the first doilies I have ever tried. Easy to follow directions for this novice crocheter.

I love crocheting doilies but it always takes me so long to finish one, this looks like just the right size and not too complicated. I might try this with 2 different colors.

I am a beginner. I am self taught and am having a hard time understanding Round 8 of this pattern. I have all the CH. 7's done but am confused about the chain 3 and then a tr in last ch-2 sp. Do you have a video showing this ? Thank you so much.

I agree, Round 8 was an issue. I worked out that the last sc is into a dc , then ch3 and 1tr into last 2 ch-sp

I made this a while back. It was fairly simple and turned out quite pretty.

I want to work on a pattern call BROCADE. It begins: Starting at center, cch 10. Join with sl st to form ring. 1st rnd: Working over 6 strands of thread, make a 16 sc in ring. Join with sl st to first sc. I know what the abbrev. means, however, I do not understand what or how: working over 6 strands, mean. This pattern came from a Coats & Clark's Place Mats and Doilies BOOK NO. 315.

it means to have 6 strands of yarn on your hook, so you have to yarn over 6 times then do the sc in the ring
