Crochet Square Doily

"As a change to the normal round doily I have made this one square, it is made in a simple all over shells 2 row stitch pattern using light worsted weight #3 cotton yarn (double knit cotton for UK crocheters) on a 5.50mm hook, and edged with picots. Doilies can be any shape (round, rectangle, square or star) and can have various uses around the home as a table centre piece, under plant pots etc, make a set of different sizes and shapes and give as a housewarming gift. "
