This is actually THE first dishcloth I have my students work up since it is literally all made of Single Crochet. These are perfect for learning to work a stitch to the end of the row and making a turn. I have them keep the starting tail a bit long so they can remember which is the right side and which is the wrong side of a piece of work. Thats not critical at this point, but its a great time to introduce the concept.

I have made so many of these over the years. I make them for everyone I know because they can be used over and over, tossed in the dishwasher or washing machine and used over and over again!

Love this Durable Dish Cloth pattern. It reads well and is so easy to whip up.. I'm going to try it with different kinds of yarn to find the best one. There are scrubby yarns out there that are thin enough to add with the acrylic yarn so it will be a better scrubbing cloth. So many ideas.. Thank you for this free easy crochet pattern..

This is a really great, easy dish cloth pattern. I had gotten a kit with several balls of cotton yarn, but the directions were so confusing and I didn't like the patterns at all. Then I found this pattern and made up a bunch of cloths that were better than the kit! Thanks for the pattern.
