Trail Cowl Crochet Pattern
You'll be ready hike in any weather with the Trail Cowl Crochet pattern. Worked in rounds, you'll have this unique crochet pattern done in no time, especially after you get the hang of the special stitches used. This crochet cowl has fantastic texture, but it's not too thick and bulky to wear in the fall. We love the idea of hiking some trails during autumn and wearing this scarf while you admire the leaves changing on the trees. It's a very romantic scene and this scarf will keep you warm and stylish for it.

Before you even think about working up this fascinating project, go to the designers tutorial page and read through the entire post. Better yet, grab some scrap yarn and work up a swatch of each style she has created. I love all three versions, but you can see the stitch design much better with the Trail version. Im bookmarking this designers page for future use, too.

I have not heard of the extended single crochet or the extra extended single crochet before. I might shy away from this because of that, not knowing how to work a new to me stitch- but I am sure I can find a stitch tutorial online! She picked a great color combination, by the way.

I'm such a huge fan of double-sided projects, and I love cowls. I can't wait to try this out!
