While I can't wear one here in Florida I do have a person in mind up North whom I think will love and appreciate this one. She had a tracheotomy about two years ago and it left a nasty scar. I know it embarrasses her. This will be perfect for her.

This is a rather timely project since it was just announced on the news today that the NECCO company, the one that makes the traditional Valentine treat, has been sold and any future production is now uncertain. Unfortunately, theres a problem with the above link as that directs the reader to this designers previous project, the Bee Mine/Sunshine Chunky Cowl. The correct pattern is found here http//crochetverse.com/cabled-candy-cowl-a-sweethe == art-of-a-pattern/

Super cute and super girly! If that is not your personal style than this cowl is not the one for you. I admit, this look is NOT for everyone. But it IS for me! It covers the neck with out the bulk of a full scarf or a large cowl, like most of the cowls that are out there... infinity scarves I am talking about you! This is suitable to keep on inside the cold office where you waste away your days. May as well look pretty!

I know just what you mean. I hate wearing turtlenecks, so one of these small cowls over a sweater is just the thing.
