Using a size 7 steel crochet hook you can make this fun crochet holiday pattern. You can use it as a decoration, a bookmark, a pin or whatever you want it to be.
Crochet Hook7 or 1.65 mm hook (steel)
Yarn Weight(3) Light/DK (21-24 stitches to 4 inches)

I never would have thought to use a hair elastic for the center. Much easier to come by (and cheaper, too!) than the curtain rings. The author gives a number of suggestions on how to use the little wreath, but she doesnt mention as a hair accessory. With the elastic center, I dont see why this wouldnt work. I may have to work up a couple and let my granddaughter try them out.
