If youre looking for a larger stocking ornament to hold a special treat, this is just what you need. Using the recommended size G hook, the stockings measure approximately 7 inches (depending on how tightly you work your stitches). A gauge is given but is fairly forgiving. What I dont like about the pattern is having to stitch it up to assemble. The heel part is too rounded as well, and doesnt really look like a traditional stocking.
