It is so cute, but the bells would drive my household nuts! I'm not sure our cat or dog would keep it on either. However, it would make a cute "instrument" for the kids at church to have fun with during our music time.

This is so cute!! Perhaps if I had a dog it would wear it but since I have a cat and it's her way or the highway, I would not attempt to put it on her, I don't like the sight of my own blood! Really a cute idea though!

I'm sure that either of my dogs, and they are chihuahuas, would take a collar like that off in about two seconds. The would more than likely get their toenails caught in it first. Further, it would not be strong enough to attach a leash and the only reason my dogs wear collars/harnesses, is so that we can take them walking and that requires a leash.

This is a cute idea for a "stuffed" pet. My cat would work it off. More that that, I would fear that they would swallow a bell, and that would could be a vet bill, or worse. Not worth the risk.

I would definitely NOT make this collar for a pet. Animals hate having bells, especially large ones attached to them. How terrifying is that???

Nice collar. Would make it for my pet; that is, if I had one. However, It would NOT have jingle bells on it. They are a hazzard to animals. A toenail could easily be caught on it. Or, if it came off they could be swallowed. Jingle bells are great for decorations but they belong up out of reach of pets and children.

I would crochet it for a stuffed animal. However, I wouldn't crochet it for a real one, as there would be safety issues, I don't want my cats to choke, all my cats wear breakaway-type collars.

This is cute but due to the bells, my dog would do his very best to pull it off and eat it.

I think it is adorable! However, they have very sensitive ears, and I always wonder if the bells are too loud for them. I would maybe take the bell off, or crochet some bells instead. Thanks for the pattern, I love this site!!

That is so cute and I would definitely crochet that for my cat. I like to hear him coming so I always know where he is. Thanks for the pattern.
