This is a cute project, but my dogs would shred this in 10 seconds flat. It might make a nice toy for a younger puppy, or even a cute photo prop. If you are into retro costuming, this would also make an interesting hair accessory ala the Flintstones. It looks like there were originally photos included with the instructions, but these seem to have expired (third party host).

Since I have made toys for my friends with cats, I figured it was only fair to make some toys for my friends with dogs too. This is a very easy project that I am sure their fur babies would like. I will add a few bells inside of it to add some noise to their fun.

I love it. I wish everyone would show parts or stages of the project like Ginny does when she gives the pattern. It makes beginners like me a way to see if they are doing it right. My dogs just loved it. Now I want to try for some sweaters and possibly some booties for my furry babies. Thanks so much for all who help beginners like me to enjoy ourselves by crochet. I am 58 now and can enjoy my days of not having to work by having something to keep me relaxed and happy. Blessings to all.
