I am still unsure what the big deal is over unicorns. I guess for me I just don't get it. I have a fantasy side but it does not lean that way. I am more into the Marvel universe but I can appreciate the unicorn also. I think this is a cute pattern and well worth it to make this if you are a unicorn fan.

My initial thought was, this would be great as a Halloween costume so I went to the site to check out the pattern. You must visit and I mean you must visit the site. Not only is there the directions to create this whimsical tail, there are other pattern pieces to go with it. I just love it!

When our family lived in a neighboring mountainous state, we would never depend on decent weather for Halloween. Elaborate costumes were out of the question in favor of hooded sweatshirts and pants. I would have loved this unicorn tail! Because its made from acrylic yarn, no worries about the colors running if it gets wet. A smaller matching version could be sewn on to the hoodie for a mane, too.

I am so glad to see that this unicorn tail is for adults to wear, too! Because when I saw it, I immediately thought of making one for myself to wear just for fun! I tell you, if you want to get noticed, show up at your costume party wearing the full outfit. She does provide links to all of the other pieces offered. I have to say her pattern is the one that I like the most. It has a bright, fluorescent color theme as compared to a pastel color theme.
