This is such a pretty pattern and I think some are making it harder than it is. It's very easy, if you pay attention. I am going to make a second one for a friends grand daughter as she fell in love with the one I made for my God daughter.

Such an adorable dress. It would be a great gift to make for a little girl's birthday. I like how the pattern comes in sizes for babies 3 months old to four-year old toddlers. I would need to print out the pattern before I start as there are a couple of different patterns as well as shaping involved in making this cute dress.

I am also in love with this adorable dress, it looks overall simple to make just the intricate panels might give me trouble. This would be such a cute Easter dress for a toddler!

It would be nice to copy and paste this pattern but this "pop-up" for the "All Free Crochet Newsletter" will not let me. My computer does not support the program for the newsletter and I cannot get the pattern unless I write it out....."All Free Crochet" please fix this problem

I increased the size by using a larger hook 'j'. also you can take the gauge and use it to measure the child and see how gauge are against the child's numbers. I know it's math but you can do it, even if you follow the pattern and then measure the fabric against the child's numbers and add from there or you can dbl the smallest size's in pattern IE ch 60 would be ch 120. and then check the gauge. if you took physics in school it's the same thing. sewing and needle crafts are physics - getting this shape into that shape. I am a plus size and have to do it often as there are not many plus sizes in crochet. if nothing else you will learn a new stitch and can rip out what you have done.

I have identical twin nieces, age 3. I made two of these dresses in bright turquoise and brown. They are just adorable! Being that winter is fast approaching, I purchased turtlenecks and opaque tights so they can wear them as jumpers. On one of the "jumpers", I crocheted the top and hem turquoise, the body brown, and the other is brown top and hem, turquoise body...just to make them a little different. (they're getting to the age where they don't want to be identical ALL the time!) So CUTE! I can't wait to see them in these outfits!
