These look like real fish scales on this easy mermaid tail blanket. I love the color here but the original link that is worked up in blue is my favorite. With a video included, from small to large sizes, in a short while you too could have this wonderful mermaid tail blanket. I know I plan on making one.

I had a coworker that made one of these in 2016 for her sister. At the time, I just thought it was cute and had no wish to have one of my own. I still do not, but my first cousin saw one and now I have to make one for her adorable grand baby. So, of all the patterns I have come across in my search, this one to me is most life like.

The colors and design of this blanket definitely make this a one-of-a-kind afghan! This would be such a fun gift for a daughter or granddaughter.
