"This little lion lovie will make the perfect Baby Shower gift or to make for a special little person in your life. I've made a bunch of them and they never disappoint. This works up fairly quickly and has a granny square-like base that the little lion head sits in the middle of. Little ones will hold on to it, hug it, or drag it around behind them. No matter how they find a way to love them, this pattern is something you need to try."

Wow. This is amigurumi at its finest. Yellow is my favorite colors so this project is really so beautiful. Yellow looks so good on the Lion Lovie. She looks so feminine and demure in her yellow/brown combo gown. So lovely, my granddaughter will love this!

Im a big fan of the IKEA stuffed toys for that very reason. Im not at all skilled when it comes to embroidery, but even I can manage a simple Satin stitch. The amigurumi part is probably the most challenging for a Beginner, but its simple enough not to be too intimidating. This is an adorable lovie, and the best part is that all the features are embroidered on.
