this is so adorable. I love it and can't wait for my little daycare monkeys to open them on Christmas morning

Laurie I'm with you, this is the most adorable blanket, it looks comfy too! My daughter has an obsession with sock monkeys and this would make the perfect birthday present for her next month! I better get crocheting! Thanks to RedHeart for the pattern!

Fund pattern again at Redheart.com. Not only saved it, but took a screen shot just in case!!!!

Yesterday I looked at the pattern and wrote down the colors and number of skeins needed. Today I look and the pattern is missing. What's up with that??

Same here. Already bought supplies and have 17 inches complete!! This sucks!!!

I'm making this for the first time and so far everything seems fairly clear and easy. However, I'm having a little difficulty trying to figure out how to assemble. Is there any place I can find a diagram of this part? How do I contact (Linda Cyr for Red Heart Yarns), the person who published the pattern? Can anyone help? Thanks!

Hi dwayneguay! We suggest you contact Red Heart Yarns about this pattern. You can find a link to their website on their company profile, here: http://www.allfreecrochet.com/Crochet-Companies/Red-Heart/. Hope this helps! -- AllFreeCrochet Editors

To make this larger for an older child or an adult, I would think it could be done by figuring out the number of stitches you would need to chain to have it come out even in the first row. After that it would just be continuing with the v-stitch pattern rows 1 and 2. The head, muzzle, etc. should be easy to adjust to the new size. Good luck with your enlargement.

I have just finished my first monkey blanket and have started a second one. It looks a bit intimidating when you begin making the extra pieces to add to the blanket. It goes together easy if you just pay really close attention to the instructions.

I am almost through making this blanket but I am having trouble understanding the mittens I have read the instructions several times but I am confused about attaching the thumb I have not made the thumb yet bc I am afraid I made the mitten wrong As I understand it the mittens should be usable but as I understand the directions the thumb would be sewn shut What am I missing or did wrong Hands Make With C ch Round Work sc in nd ch from hook do not join and do not turn work in continuous rounds sc Round Work sc in each sc around sc Round sc in next sc sc in next sc times sc Round sc in next sc sc in next sc times sc Round Sc in each sc around Round Sc tog sc in next sc times change to B in last st sc RoundsRead More and Sc in each sc around Fasten off Thumbs Make With C ch Round Work sc in nd ch from hook do not join and do not turn work in continuous rounds sc Rounds Sc in each sc around Fasten off Sew thumbs to hands

What does v-sts mean? I am new to this.

I need to see how to put the pieces together. Thanks

How do I print the pattern? I love it for my 2 yr. old grandaughter.

@bullpuppies, We suggest contacting the pattern designer directly for help. The designer is specified in the byline. --Editor of AllFreeCrochet

Any ideas on making this a size to fit my 14 year old? She loves this and wants one lol.

Instead of going directly to printing the page, highlight and copy just the pattern information and then copy it to a microsoft word document. You can print it from there much more easily

This is really cute, but I printed it out and there is missing on 1st page .Its the pattern stitch pattern.part how can I get it without writing it down.

I love love love Sock monkey stuff of any kind. This is so awesome, how would I go about making it larger for an adult, then I could have one along with my grandkids. Thanks for any help you can be. SaliC

That is cute and fun for the kids. It will stimulate the imagination.
