Crochet HookI/9 or 5.5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Finished Size2" flower
Materials List
- small amount (10 to 20 yards) of any weight yarn
- Hook size to match yarn weight
- 1/4" felt button (optional)
- tapestry needle, sewing needle (for button) sewing thread

This pattern makes a really nice ruffled flower. I used the I size hook as suggested by the designer, but you can really use any size hook that goes with your selected yarn. A G size hook worked well with a fine baby yarn, and was even better looking than the original. If you leave the Magic Circle a little loose, you can change the flowers by simply buttoning and unbuttoning.

A 15 minute easy flower embellishment? Well, who doesnt have time for that?!?! In the picture posted here, I think the flower would look so much better and stand out so much more if it had been made with a color other than the same as the hat. A purple color that matches the button center would have really made it pop.
