Funky Flower Applique
This Funky Flower Applique was originally designed to spruce up a boring crochet hat pattern, but it could be added to plenty of other projects for a fun floral motif. These little flowers do not take very long to work up and are a very easy crochet project. Creating a handful of these to add to old projects in the springtime would be a great way to add flair to your wardrobe. Consider adding a safety pin onto the back and clipping one to your coat. This project uses any yarn weight, just be sure to use the proper hook.

I have my crochet flower files divided into two main categories. The first is the more botanically correct kind, and the second is what I call Fun Flowers. This is where I keep my more imaginative and fantastical creations like this one. Its quick to work up, and if you use variegated yarns, its different every single time. Thanks for the addition to my collection!
