Assorted Rose Bouquet
"If you’re like me, you love flowers but hate watching them wilt. Allow yarn to become the hero to create this beautiful bouquet of assorted crochet roses. These roses are a perfect decoration for any room and a wonderful gift for any event, especially Valentine’s day and Mother’s day. This pattern is truly a stash buster as I used left over yarn from previous projects. My roses are in beautiful shades of pink, yellow and white because I love roses of all colors (but I also didn’t have any red in my stash). This pattern came to life in an afternoon, including all undoing, figuring out, deciding and indecisiveness. I created six crochet roses in total in two different sizes (one set is just slightly larger than the other) but, of course, you can add as little or as many roses to your bouquet as you like, in any colors you like. Fill your house with roses! You don’t need a house for anything but crochet, right? I used wire instead of a wooden dowel because I feel the bend of the wire gives the roses a more organic and realistic feel. I made three smaller roses with one in each color and three slightly larger roses with one in each color. MATERIALS If you want your roses to look exactly like mine, you’ll need the following yarn in Medium (4) weight: Red Heart With Love Super Saver Cameo – Pink Red Heart Super Saver Brand Light Sage Dark Green Frosty Green Light Green Cornmeal Yellow I Love This Yarn Tweed Pastels White with flecks of pink, blue and yellow Aluminum Craft Wire (I purchased from Amazon) 18 gauge TOOLS 5.5 MM Hook Scissors Wire cutters Tapestry Needle You will need to know how to: ch = chain sc = single crochet dc = double crochet hdc = half double crochet sl st = slip stitch"
