This is a great easy pattern for beginners who are trying to get to grips with working in the round. It works up really quickly and looks great backed with red felt. It would make a great teacher gifts with a mug for the end of term and a personal gift or as a set of mixed red and green apples as a present for a new home.

Many years ago I had made my daughter "apple placemats" for her kitchen, Now that I fo;und this pattern for the "apple coaster" this would be a great X-mas present to go along with her placemats! Thankyou for posting this they should work up in a flash!
