Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
MATERIALS:
- STITCH NATION by Debbie Stoller™ “Alpaca Love™”:
1 Ball each 3650 Lotus A, 3810 Lake B and 3620 Fern C. - Crochet Hook: 5mm [US H-8].
- Yarn needle.
SIZE:
Directions are for size Small; changes for sizes Medium, Large, X-Large and XX-Large are in parentheses.
Belt Length: 23 (27, 31, 35, 40, 45)”, excluding ties
GAUGE:
12 hdc = 4”; 10 rows = 4”. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.
BELT
With A, ch 70 (82, 94, 106, 121, 136).
Row 1: Dc in 2nd ch from hook, dc into each ch across, ch 100 – 69 (81, 93, 105, 120, 135) hdc.
Fasten off and turn work.
Row 2: With B, ch 100, hdc in first 2 sts, [skip next st, ch 1, hdc in next st] across to last st, hdc in last st, ch 100.
Fasten off and turn work.
Row 3: With A, ch 100, hdc in each hdc and ch-1 space across, ch 100.
Fasten off and turn work.
Row 4: With B, repeat Row 2.
Row 5: With C, repeat Row 3.
Row 6: With B, repeat Row 2.
Row 7: With A, repeat Row 3.
Row 8: With B, repeat Row 2.
Row 9: With A, ch 100, dc in each hdc and ch-1 space across, ch 100.
Fasten off.
Edging Row:
Turn to work along opposite foundation ch.
Beginning at edge without A 100-ch length, with C, ch 100, sc in each st across.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends.

Thank you for this pattern. I was thrilled to find this Sassy Summer belt in larger sizes. Not everyone is a small size and finding patterns that are easy and pretty and come in X- large really is very nice. I hope to see more of them listed in the future. Thanks again!
