Small Stash Baskets
"Yardage for 2 strands of medium weight yarn (Red Heart Super Saver) held together is: 119 yds. This free pattern was created as part of the New Year, New Skill 2018 Crochet Along. #CALCentral Make this pretty basket by working 2-strands of medium weight yarn held together. I have included instructions for both the Raffia yarn I used for my first basket and the substituted medium weight yarn (Red Heart Super Saver). This will enable you to pick some medium weight yarn from your stash to make this handy little basket. The easy-to-follow written pattern includes a photo tutorial for the baby bean stitch and invisible join technique. You are also given the link to the Double Magic Ring Tutorial - which is the New Year, New Skill Technique I chose to demonstrate for the CAL. Have fun with your yarn and let me see those baskets! I use little baskets like these all the time, and believe it or not, my favorite place is my cars glove compartment. You can find organizers for just about every drawer imaginable, but nothing for a glove compartment. Because these are so plyable, I can squish a couple next to each other and make a custom fit. The stitch is close, so I can keep occasional loose change and other bits without worrying theyll slip through.
