Puff Zip Wallet
"Create this gorgeous puff stitch wallet! Very pretty and works up quickly. I really enjoyed making this and I hope you do too! Enjoy the free pattern! Pair with my crossbody bag pattern to make a set! The final wallet measures 6.5″ wide by 5″ tall. The wallet uses a size E and size G hook, 100% cotton yarn and 6 inch zipper. The stitches are worked into the zipper itself (use a awl or large sharp needle to poke the holes) then the pattern is worked down both sides of the wallet then joined together."
Crochet HookG/6 or 4 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

This is pretty, but I am really confused by some of the instructions. Its not explicitly stated, but it sounds like the crocheted portion is worked directly off the zipper. I know if I were working this project using fabric thats exactly where I would start. Each panel is worked from the zipper, but youll have to make sure that the Right and Wrong sides are the same. A bit fiddly, but this is a lovely little bag.

This is a very pretty wallet project, but I cannot master the zipper. I know the zipper is needed if you will keep smaller items or coins in it, but I am going to try to make one that does not have a zipper closure just to see what I could use it for. Looks simple enough to be able to make one in a few hours.

Oh this has my name all over it. I make and sell purses on line. Mainly crochet ones. I think this will make a great addition to my site. I love the puff stitch and have made larger bags using it. So this will be something a little different for me. Plus it's easy peasy.
