Puff Crossbody Bag
"Create this gorgeous puff stitch cossbody bag! Works up quickly and I just love the end result! Directions are make with a zipper but you could also chain the stitches in the beginning and follow the pattern then add a button at the end and chains at the middle top of the bag for the enclosure. I used D hooks on the sides (can find at any craft store) and added detachable purse strap (I find mine at thrift stores). Such a cute purse! The final bag measures 11″ X 11″. Enjoy the free pattern!"
Crochet HookG/6 or 4 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

This project is from the same designer as the Puff Zip Wallet. The photo supplied by the designer shows both projects together. Just like the Puff Zip Wallet, each side panel of the bag is worked directly off the zipper. If you dont want to use a zipper, the designer gives some alternate suggestions for closing it including a button. As for D rings, my favorite source for those is a horse tack shop instead of a craft shop. Much heavier duty.

I always wanted to know exactly how, (the best way) to add your zipper to your bag. She gives a lot of great tips for that, to make it easier and more professional looking. This bag screams craft fair to me. In my city, a bag like this would fetch a pretty penny.
