"This bag is so much fun to make! Great for leftover yarn you don’t know what to do with! This pattern uses a simple heart chart and single crochets to make fun and colorful heart squares that are single crocheted together to form the body of the bag. The handles are then added to create this fun happy tote! If you have never worked with charts before, this is a great, easy chart to get started on. This pattern uses a hook size G and 100% cotton yarn, I used Lilys Sugar N’ Cream. This bag can also be made with medium worsted weight yarn. The bag measures 15″ X 15″ with a 8.5″ strap drop. Each heart square is 5″ X 5″."
Crochet HookG/6 or 4 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

The hearts of love crochet tote is really adorable. It is just the right size for a couple of electronic gadgets as well as a to go crochet project. Sometimes I have difficulty deciding what to bring, my tablet or my crochet. Most of the time, the crochet wins out but this bag would be perfect for both.

These little multi color heart really make this design special. Any opportunity you have to use different colors in a project means there will be a lot of ends to weave in but it also gives you the opportunity to really make it personal. This is just a suggestion set forth by the designer but you can personalize with your favorite colors.

This is the perfect crochet tote bag to carry around a small crochet project inside! It has a vintage appeal to it that is really endearing. The colorway is what makes this wearable. Not too loud or over the top, but enough color for interest. Great choice on using the 100% cotton yarn, too!

Dont wait for Valentines Day to work up this cute tote, even if the motifs look like Conversation Hearts. This is a great scrap buster, and each little heart provides a chance to practice your Tapestry skills. The designer includes a very nice chart for the simple heart motif that you can use for this bag or other projects. Dont pass this one up.
