Evening Purse
"I had this beautiful button and wanted to make a casual purse with lots of space for everything. Carrying a handmade purse always adds some extra happiness. The Evening Purse is the perfect companion for a evening stroll, shopping and all. I choose a gorgeous red color. Crocheting the purse is easier than writing the pattern. And I enjoyed both. The pattern is very easy, one can make it within few hours. I used a simple stitch for the body. The base pattern is slightly different which gives a nice shape to the bag."

It is amazing how the jewel that is used here as embellishment is the catalyst for creating such a gorgeous evening purse. I agree the button is pretty but it does not out shine the finished result of this red purse. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

If this is the first attempt at creating and writing the pattern for a project, I have to admit I am impressed. There are pictures to go along with the design and I think the finished purse is simply elegant. With or without the button used by the designer, this will be a lavish bag for any special event.

Beginner project? Wow, this does not look like a beginner project and that is a good thing. I love that button. I have several old-fashioned clip on earring sets that look similar to this that I have been trying to figure out a purpose for. Has anyone used or repurposed clip on earrings and how do you do it?

This is just too pretty. Not only that but after reading thru the pattern, you are correct, it's very easy to make. I am going to make mine in black glitter yarn with a silver chain strap and a large silver button. I will line it, adding a small pocket inside. Thank you for inspiring and sharing.
