Essential Project Tote

"Every once in awhile the planets align and a project turns out even better than imagined. I am LOVING the new Red Heart Soft Essentials yarn and had some purple skeins to use. I LOVE bags and have been wanting “the perfect project tote”. One that I can just grab and take in the car. Big enough for a skein or two, my travel supply bag and the project, but not flimsy or too big. I thought WHAT THE HECK and dove into the essentials skeins."

Crochet HookK/10.5 or 6.5 mm hook

Yarn Weight(5) Bulky/Chunky (12-15 stitches for 4 inches)

Crochet Gauge4” = 10.5 hdc sts x 9 rounds. Not necessary for this project.

Finished Size12” wide x 7.5” tall (without handles) x 4” deep

Red Heart always has good sales on yarn and what better excuse to make a purchase. This little tote is adorable and probably a little small for my needs but I am sure I can find a use for it. Right now, I still find it hard to pare down what I bring along. This just may be the answer for that though. One way to find out.

This essential project tote is just the right size for my electronics as well. We all know how important those cell phones and tablets are and of course the power charge cords. Having spare cords stored it is easy to just slip in my tablet and go.

Perfect size and perfect color for this very sturdy and multi useful bag / tote. This is a great pattern. I like the pictures included on the blog of the bags other people have made using this pattern. I always like to see what color combos and extra add ons others can come up with.
