Easy Zipper Pouch
"Ready to try a fun crochet project? I’ve created a video tutorial to help you make this little crochet zipper pouch from start to finish. You will need a closed-end zipper, Medium/Aran Weight yarn and a lighter yarn (I used 4-ply) for the first round to set up the zipper. We begin this little crochet zipper pouch at the zipper and once the first 3 rounds are complete you work in straight single crochet until the end. Then we whipstitch the bottom closed and your little crochet zipper pouch is complete! You can use this method to create bags of all sizes - you are limited only by your creativity and the size zipper you choose to use. The first round uses a lighter yarn (or you could use thread or embroidery floss) then the rounds following use the medium/worsted weight yarn. If you are using a heavier yarn be sure to do a quick gauge swatch to find out how many stitches per inch you have. The first set-up round needs to have that many stitches. "
