Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge14 dc and 9 rows = 4” with 5.5mm crochet hook
Finished Size7.5" wide and 5.5" height
Materials List
- (MC) Approx: 110 yards of worsted weight
- (C1) 50 yards of worsted weight
- 5.5mm crochet hook
- 1 button about 1" diameter
- Stitch marker / Zipper about 8" long / A piece of fabric big enough for lining the bag / Thread and needle / Scissors
- 4 Beads (if you like to add)

I can imagine the little girls who will receive this kind of bag this Christmas will be very happy. This bag can be carried to the mall, to a party or just strolling with friends.

Having an accent color allows many designs. One I am thinking of is fuchsia and black accent color for a Minnie Mouse look. Now what little girl would not want a Minnie mouse inspired purse? Making the strap long enough would allow this bag worn as a cross body bag.

This is just about the cutest little bag Ive ever seen, and my teens and tweens are just going to love it. Its worked in two separate sections (rounds for the bag and rows for the flap), so while there is some assembly required, its relatively minor in nature and well photographed. The only thing I would change is to work the strap using either a Single or Half Double Foundation stitch. The strap would still be thin, but much studier than just a chain.

This is such a beautiful little purse. It would be perfect to be the first purse for little girls. Over a few evenings you can quickly make this purse in different color combinations. Little girls will love this purse.
