What a great idea. This work up into single serving size bags. I would love to be able to bring these and use them in the local grocery stores but I am sure that may be a problem. At the local farmers market this would be the ideal way to keep the purchase separate before placing them in another crochet bag. I will never come home with plastic baggies again!

This is the perfect little produce bag. I could actually see this as a reusable snack bag. I bring a few pieces of fruit and snack size bags of nuts or the like when I go to work or to the park as an outing. This could easily hold those snacks for me and at a glace, I would know what I have.

The market bags are so quick to make! They make a great option when shopping at the farmer's market or the grocery store for produce. They don't take up much room, either, so storage is no problem. You can make them in a variety of colours too, and they make great gifts! Try making one out of cord or thin rope for extra sturdiness and strength!

I love this pattern. I made one of these bags in a couple of hours. It is very easy to do and would be great for beginners. I'm going to make several more and try one a little bigger by adding a few more increase rows. I'm really glad I found this pattern. This would be perfect for carrying a wet swimsuit too.

Such a fast easy little bag to make. I substituted a sc in place of the sl in center of the ch 7 and it goes much faster. I did several in green for St. Patrick's Day gifts to my girls....Go Green.
