I love this pattern! My family and I have moved into a new house this week, and I am tired of having my bags under the kitchen sink. As I told my husband, if something gets wet under the sink, the bags get wet and gross. Then what was the point of keeping them? I am making this with cotton yarn, hoping it will hold its shape longer.

Saw this at same site as a plarn pattern and decided that these made of plarn (the bags themselves) would be a great idea. Can't wait to make for all of my friends. Love the pony tail holder idea.

Love this. Made it in thinner yarn adding 10 stitches to compensate and added 5 inches to the length. I also took the loop at the top and chained up the length, didn't attach it, turned and SC back down the length of the string. Tied off weaved in end and placed another string along other side where the attachment would have been made. End result, 2 strings instead of a loop so I could tie it through my pantry handle. Using the thinner string made it a tighter project so you can't see the bags through the project.
