"Functional and made in an easy stitch, so this purse is ideal if you are just starting out or a beginner crocheter. There is only a small amount of sewing involved, you can crochet it up very quickly (I made it in a morning), make the main part of the purse in one solid color and the flap in a different color to match your outfit. Made in a worsted weight #4 yarn using a 6.50mm hook."

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge3 half double crochets and 2.5 rows to the inch
