Hi, I really like the blue summmer tote bag, but when you try to go to the actual site it tells you it is not a private link and is unsafe to connect to . This may need to be checked out, because if true someone could be stealing your clients data.

Hi ftdavison 5003256, I'm sorry you're experiencing this issue. This particular pattern is leading to a site that seems to be secure when I access it. Are you thinking of a different pattern? Again, I'm sorry about the inconvenience! - Laura, editor of AllFreeCrochet

This is such a pretty design. It's like the popcorn or bobble stitch in a smaller version. It's very easy to learn. This would look nice done up in an ombr type yArn. It will self shade and bring out the design more. And a vibrant lining material really would be perfect.

An all-around great basic tote bag, good for just about anything you need it for. I am not too fond of the color she used, but it is just my personal opinion.-) If I made it in black, I could add surface crochet or a motif for Halloween. I like kitsch! Ooooh, a white skull on one side and a classic Jack-o-lantern on the other. This is what I see for this bag. For the lining I would choose a novelty print, maybe spiderwebs or bats. Super fun!

Im always attracted to projects with unusual textures, and while I may or may not complete the actual project, I at least work up a swatch to try out the techniques. Since this is worked in the round, I just reduced the initial chain by half and took it from there. The designer explains how to work the Bead Stitch, and also embeds a photo tutorial.

I am currently working on a crochet tote very similar to this one. My tote will be four different colors. I started about a week ago and expect to fix in about two weeks.

This might look like your standard tote bag, but think of how you could customize it to your own taste? You could crochet it as the photo shows, in a solid colour, or you could crochet this tote in a variegated yarn too. If you're not opposed to weaving in a bunch of ends, you could also crochet this tote in many colourful stripes too!
